Friday: Williams drivers disappointed with the overall performance of their car

After securing the team's first and only point of 2013 during the Hungarian race, Pastor Maldonado expected to return to scoring points more regularly after the summer break. But the Venezuelan doesn't give up and promises to give it his all once again to make the most of his Williams, equipped with a new front wing. Valtteri Bottas, on the other hand, is pleased with his team's progress, even though he is aware of the work still to be done.

Friday: Williams drivers disappointed with the overall performance of their car

Pastor Maldonado – 13th and 17th

Our performance was not at the expected level today, but fortunately, we can analyze the data tonight and improve for tomorrow. We seem to have made a step forward with the new front wing, but we need to work on the car as a whole to look at all areas. As always, we will do our best and try to get the most out of the car.

Valtteri Bottas – 16th and 18th

We conducted some tests today, both mechanical and aerodynamic. We still have work to do on the car’s balance since we are struggling with the front, especially in the middle of the corner. We need to work on that, but the positive thing is that we seem to have made a step forward with the new front wing tested on Pastor’s car, so I’m looking forward to testing it myself.
