Malaysian Grand Prix: Investigations for Alonso/Kvyat and Ricciardo/Bottas

During the Malaysian Grand Prix qualifying, held in the rain, several incidents disrupted the session.

Thus, in Q2, a collision occurred between Fernando Alonso and Daniil Kvyat. The latter, at the wheel of his Toro Rosso, entered a corner more quickly than the former, who was ahead, before moving to the inside. The Spaniard, who was on the outside line, moved over without being able to see the Russian. This was followed by a minor collision that damaged the front wing of the STR9 and completely broke one of the front left suspension arms of the Ferrari F14-T. The stewards launched an investigation to determine if there was any responsibility in this collision.

In Q2, yet again, a new incident occurred, this time between Daniel Ricciardo and Valtteri Bottas. The Australian, furious, believed that the Williams driver had considerably hindered him at the start of the straight line. Once again, a decision is awaited.

Finally, Romain Grosjean had considered himself to be hindered by Nico Rosberg, but no information has emerged regarding a possible investigation into this incident.
