This weekend, Formula 1 heads to Bahrain for the third round of the 2014 World Championship! After a race on the abrasive Sepang circuit, Sakhir will offer a unique setting with a night race.
Friday’s free practice sessions saw the Mercedes drivers lead the way with Lewis Hamilton setting the fastest times in all three practice sessions, ahead of Nico Rosberg. With the Mercedes-powered cars having a significant advantage, we can expect to see Force India, Williams, and McLaren vying for very good positions.
Unlike the previous two qualifying sessions, there is a very low chance of rain playing a role. However, the wind, as well as the night, could pose challenges for some drivers.
