Sunday: Marussia and Bianchi dominate Caterham but not Sauber

Jules Bianchi (No. 17) – 18th

For the French driver, after a failed qualification, the aim was to make a good start and compete with the Saubers: « It was a good race today, where we showed clear signs of improvements. I was able to get ahead of my teammate at the start, which was my first goal, and stay ahead of the Caterhams, which was the next. Our other goal was to fight with the Saubers, and while we were able to match their pace, the gap was too big. I’m glad for the team that there are some rewards for all the hard work. »

Max Chilton (No. 4) – 19th

On the British side, optimism prevails both collectively and individually: « I am really happy that we have made a good step forward here and we have been able to improve our performance against the cars around us. We are definitely gaining a solid advantage over the Caterhams and the Saubers are now in our sights, so well done to the team. On a personal level, I continue my finishing record and it’s 24 out of 24 now. »
