Ferrari replaces Räikkönen with Bianchi for the Silverstone tests

The information was announced by the BBC’s F1 editor, Andrew Benson: Scuderia Ferrari will run Jules Bianchi on Wednesday during the Silverstone private tests, in place of Kimi Räikkönen, who is out after his major accident during the first lap of the British Grand Prix race this Sunday.

The young French driver, a permanent driver at Marussia – to whom he brought its first points in the premier category at the Monaco Grand Prix last May -, is also the first member of the Ferrari Driver Academy.

Furthermore, Bianchi will be driving for Marussia on Tuesday, and Pedro de la Rosa will be at the wheel of the Ferrari on the same day.
