Toto Wolff and Paddy Lowe victims of a cycling accident
Between two Grand Prix races, Toto Wolff and Paddy Lowe, the masterminds of the Mercedes AMG F1 team, went for a bike ride that ended with a fall and several fractures to the Austrian's right arm.
The Twitter account of Mercedes humorously reported a bicycle fall involving Toto Wolff and Paddy Lowe.
If the injuries are not of extreme severity, the Austrian suffers from several fractures: A minor pile-up during the bike ride yesterday ended with fractures of the shoulder, collarbone, elbow, and wrist, but as the great man himself said: Racing is a state of mind!!
Mercedes then quotes Wolff: « We have decided to leave that to the pros now. Lewis and Nico are better wheel to wheel at 300 km/h than we are at 30 km/h! »
Subsequently, Susie Wolff, the Williams driver who shares her life with the Sunday cyclist, posted a photo on Twitter with the following message: « My husband, the hero! As we know, boys will be boys… Looks like I’ll have to play nurse for the next few weeks! »
