F1 is back, and its return to school takes place on the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.
The first two free practice sessions were dominated by the same trio consisting of Nico Rosberg – leading in FP1 -, Lewis Hamilton – leading in FP2 -, and Fernando Alonso. These sessions were held on a dry track, unlike the third free practice. During this last hour, it was Valtteri Bottas, taking advantage of a partly wet track, who placed his Williams at the top of the timesheet, ahead of a duo consisting of Daniel Ricciardo and the championship leader.
The cold and the rain could play a big role during this qualifying session, which could prove to be epic and uncertain.
