Saturday: Bianchi and Marussia F1 outpaced by Kobayashi

Jules Bianchi (No. 17) – 20th [19th on the grid]

For the Frenchman, being edged out by Kobayashi at the last moment was a disappointment: « I am disappointed, I must say. It was very tight between us and the cars around […] but we finished behind a Caterham when we should be ahead. I think we were at the limit in terms of what we could do in qualifying, but I know we will be better in the race and we are quite close to the cars in front of us. »

Max Chilton (No. 4) – and 21st [20th on the grid]

For the Briton, qualifying was difficult but he expects a tight fight: « Today was a bit of a challenge. I was really quite happy with the car yesterday, with a lot of fuel. After FP3 this morning, we made some changes, and I think we went in the right direction, but maybe not enough, because we just struggled. With our team being in a group with the Lotus and the Caterham, it looks like it’s going to be a tight race. »
