Christijan Albers leaves Caterham F1!

Arriving in July as the head of the Caterham team, Christijan Albers announced in a statement that he was resigning for personal reasons and wished the team the best.

« For personal reasons and to spend more time with my family, I have decided to resign from my position as team manager at Caterham. I wish the best for the team in the future, » can thus be read.

« I have spent all my energy to ensure that the team’s recovery goes as smoothly as possible. I have worked tirelessly to rebuild the team, develop upgrades to install on the car. We have created a better foundation for the future and made significant progress concerning the car’s speed. »

Manfredi Ravetto, his deputy, takes the place of the Dutchman with immediate effect: « Christijan has been an asset since he joined the team. These last few months have been difficult, but we have moved forward together, and we want to thank him for his work and commitment. We wish him all the best for the future. »
