F1 Calendar: Towards 20 Grand Prix in 2015
With the arrival of the Mexican Grand Prix in 2015, the 2015 Formula 1 calendar - a draft of which leaked this weekend - should include 20 races.
A first version of the provisional calendar for the 2015 Formula 1 season was distributed to teams during the Italian Grand Prix weekend. The season is expected to have 20 dates, as in 2012, since the Mexican Grand Prix would be added to the 19 races of the 2014 calendar.
The initially indicated dates could be changed. For example, the Japanese and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix could both be moved forward by a week. The Russian Grand Prix, on the other hand, could be slotted between the Spanish and Monaco Grand Prix, according to Speedweek.
