Abu Dhabi – Day 3: Stanaway Leads Gasly

During the morning session, it was Richie Stanaway who stood out at the wheel of one of the new Status GP team’s single-seaters. The New Zealander, who has not yet been confirmed for the 2015 season, set the fastest time at 1:48.441.

Behind him, we find Pierre Gasly and Mitch Evans. Mark Webber’s protégé caused the only interruption of the session when he was forced to stop his car in turn 9. In fourth position is the Italian Raffaele Marciello. He is ahead of Alexander Rossi, Stoffel Vandoorne, Alex Lynn, and Rio Haryanto.

After an hour-long break, the drivers were able to return to the track for three more hours of testing. This time, the drivers focused on long stints to prepare for the races. In this exercise, it was Sergey Sirotkin (Rapax) who stood out with a time of 1:49.158. He was ahead of Frenchman Arthur Pic and Briton Alex Lynn.

In fourth position, we find Nathanaël Berthon. The Lazarus driver is placed just ahead of his compatriot Norman Nato and Indonesian Rio Haryanto. Pierre Gasly follows in seventh position ahead of Daniel De Jong, Mitch Evans, and Zoel Amberg.
