Survey: F1 and the GPDA want your opinion
The GPDA, the Grand Prix Drivers' Association, has launched a global survey aimed at Formula 1 fans to understand their expectations for the future of the sport.
The Grand Prix Drivers Association (GPDA) had stated in Barcelona that it would make an important announcement this weekend in Monaco. Indeed, after a meeting chaired by Alexander Wurz, surrounded by his two vice-presidents, Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button, the association decided to launch a global survey among fans of the discipline to better understand their expectations for the future.
The accessibility of the discipline, overly complicated regulations, single-seaters that have lost their identity, all the controversial topics are addressed with the aim of making F1 even more exciting.
The GPDA notably states: « As Formula 1 drivers, we love and admire this sport. We share the feelings of fans who are passionate about the purity of man and machine taking on the challenge posed by the laws of physics, and of course, the stopwatch. Without the fans, Formula 1 would be nothing; that’s why the Grand Prix Drivers’ Association (GPDA) wants to know more about you and what you think of F1. We believe this survey will give us a unique opportunity to understand how we, the drivers, and F1 as a whole, can do more for you. »
