A moment of silence to honor Jules Bianchi in Hungary
All Formula 1 drivers and stakeholders will pay their last respects to Jules Bianchi with a minute of silence to be observed before the race in Hungary this Sunday.
Jules Bianchi left us on July 18, leaving the world of motorsport and Formula 1 in shock. To pay tribute to him, all those involved in the discipline will observe a minute of silence on the starting grid of the next Grand Prix in Hungary, this Sunday, at the Hungaroring track.
Reported by the British daily newspaper *The Telegraph*, Bernie Ecclestone announced this tribute: “It is only right that we pay tribute to such a likeable young man and a talented driver who was so unfortunate. It is one of the risks of high-speed sport and it is so sad that Jules paid the ultimate price. But all of us in Formula 1 want to remember him.”
The funeral of the driver will take place on Tuesday, July 21, in the city of Nice, where many personalities from the motorsport world are expected, including Jean Todt and his son, Nicolas, friend and manager of Jules.
