Renault joins forces with Winfield School at Paul Ricard
Renault Sport and Winfield Racing School have joined forces to offer a base for discovering motor sport in the broadest sense, set up on the Paul Ricard circuit, which will host the French Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2018.
The desire to take advantage of the media exposure that the future French Grand Prix at the Paul Ricard circuit in 2018 will bring is already starting to develop.
Renault Sport has understood this interest well and the brand, present in Formula 1 as a full-fledged team and as an engine manufacturer, has decided to partner with the Winfield Racing School at its Paul Ricard facilities to offer an automotive sports discovery base that will welcome both novice and passionate drivers as well as professionals with the aim of developing their skills.
Cyril Abiteboul, Managing Director of Renault Sport, shares his excitement about this new project: « The establishment of this partnership with Winfield marks an important step in Renault’s desire to promote and sustain its passion for competitive activities. This platform will allow enthusiasts to discover the brand’s racing vehicles up to the ultimate level of Formula 1, on one of the most beautiful circuits in the world, and is part of the ambition to make the return of the French Grand Prix in 2018 more than just a one-off event. Professional drivers will be able to progress by driving modern vehicles with specific programs designed with them and operated by our F1 engineers. The exceptional facilities will also allow us to organize events for our partners. »
