Daniel Ricciardo starts his season off quite poorly
The new Red Bull was out for a commercial shoot at the Silverstone track yesterday. It was entrusted to Daniel Ricciardo, who unfortunately made a mistake on a wet track.
Immediately after its presentation, the new Aston Martin Red Bull was out at Silverstone for a promotional filming. Indeed, teams are allowed two filming days per year, each not exceeding 100 km.
The RB14 was thus entrusted to Daniel Ricciardo, who took part in this shakedown on a completely drenched track. After a few laps, the Australian unfortunately made a mistake, damaging the front wing and the floor of his new mount.
A somewhat disappointing start for Ricciardo, who still had the opportunity to share his impressions on the new creation of the Austrian team: « It’s hard to say after just a few laps, but the first impression is good. I can already feel that the rear is quite stable, even in difficult conditions, which is rather encouraging. »
The new presence of the halo doesn’t seem to bother the driver either: « I had a good view with the Halo. I didn’t really pay attention to its presence, which is quite a good sign ». concluded Ricciardo.
