Official: Toro Rosso presents the STR13 in Barcelona

This morning, in Barcelona, the Toro Rosso team unveiled its car, the STR13, which will be driven this year by Pierre Gasly and Brendon Hartley.

This new single-seater marks the first collaboration between the Italo-Austrian team and the engine manufacturer Honda, which found refuge in Faenza after three disastrous seasons with McLaren. The STR13 has already completed its first promotional run last week, which apparently went smoothly.

Earlier this month, Toro Rosso also released a video during the Honda engine startup and an ironic Tweet to respond to criticisms regarding the potential difficulties the Japanese engine manufacturer might face in its partnership with the team.

After a 2017 season marked by numerous driver changes, stability is the order of the day for this start of the year, as it is the Frenchman Pierre Gasly and the New Zealander Brendon Hartley who will be at the wheel of the single-seater that is set to hit the track in Barcelona this morning.
