F1 cars driven by Prost and Hülkenberg will put on a show in Nice in March
The mayor of Nice confirmed that an F1 demonstration will take place in the streets of Nice on March 10 and 11. Alain Prost and Nico Hülkenberg will be driving various Renault single-seaters.
Christian Estrosi, mayor of Nice and member of the GIP organizing the French Grand Prix at Castellet, announced that a Formula 1 parade will take place in the streets of the city with the presence of Alain Prost and Nico Hülkenberg to present the future race that will be held at the Paul Ricard circuit next June: « In the lead-up [to the race], we will organize events in Nice, Toulon, and Marseille. »
The one in Nice is already confirmed for the next March 10 and 11, on a route about 600 meters long, which remains to be defined but should include the famous Promenade des Anglais. Prost and Hülkenberg will take turns at the wheel of a single-seater, a recent one for the German and the latest Renault driven by the Frenchman, namely the RE20 from 1983.
All weekend long, autograph sessions and activities such as racing simulators or F1-related workshops (wheel assembly and disassembly, etc.) will be offered to visitors for free in an F1 village set up in front of the city’s Théâtre de Verdure.
